Company and Product Overview:
During the summer of 1994, the idea of a computerized license plate originated, seeking to improve the existing methods for auto insurance verification and vehicle registration confirmation. The idea percolated for years, materializing in 2010 with the creation of the prototype for the world’s first computerized license plate, known as the “PROOF Smart Tag”. The “PROOF Smart Tag” currently has PCT Patent status, a functional prototype, and a contract on the table for system design and development.
International PROOF Systems, LLC, was established to house the development of the PROOF Smart Tag (hereinafter referred to as “PST”). In addition to verifying auto insurance and confirming vehicle registration, the PST evolved to include the ability to locate a vehicle in the event of an emergency. The PST will provide a positive impact on the everyday need of Law Enforcement agencies for fast and accurate registration and insurance information. The long term goal for the PST is to become the universal standard for validating auto insurance and confirming vehicle registration, not only in the United States, but internationally as well.
